Falsterbo Chamber Music Festival

– 7 Concerts where Sweden begins –

With Falsterbo Chamber Music Festival in June 2023, we create a unique event in classical music.
Nature in Falsterbo/Skanör together with music performed by the most renowned international artists of the time.
We welcome local visitors and visitors from all corners of the world, anyone who wants to experience magnificence. At the same time as we want to inspire Swedish cultural life.
Falsterbo Chamber Music Festival will be a meeting place, where vitality is created and shared.

The first festival will be held in June 2023 where, among others, one of the world’s foremost musicians, cellist and legend Mischa Maisky, together with another ten or so international star musicians such as violinist Alissa Margulis.

Sixten Nordström – Presenter
One of Sweden’s most famous music profiles and appreciated by a wide audience as a presenter in Sveriges Television for the music competition Kontrapunkt. Sixten has also lived in Skanör for 50 years.

We are what we are called. We create classical music festivals in different places in the country.
In concert halls in large places, but we also transform small local
churches and gathering spaces to cultural scenes with the biggest international artists.

Welcome to the fellowship of like-minded people at The Friends of Chamber Music. Here, passionate chamber music lovers and cultural enthusiasts from all over Sweden gather to strengthen the opportunities for a rich and broad
range of classical music in both large and small towns through the association Kammarmusikens Vänner.
